Bar is a modern town of Montenegro which grows and expands every day. Although Bar is a port town, it is amazingly clean and has many developed green areas. It has many touristic attractions and sightseeings. The Old town of Bar, Fortress Haj Nehaj with the remnants from the 15th century fortress and the castle of King Nikola represent the historic and cultural monuments of this town.
You can see here an olive tree that is more than 2000 years old, Skadar lake with one of the biggest habitats of birds, as well as a large number of monasteries and churches which you can visit any time of the year.
Numerous festivals and cultural events take place here such as the International TV Festival, Meetings Under The Old Olive Tree, the Bar Chronicle.
There are beautiful beaches and bays in Bar: Dobre Vode, Sutomore, Chan, Shushan.
